  • We don't use OnCore, can I still attend the training?
Yes - the training is designed to be Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) agnostic and can be applied with or without a particular CTMS. Online training assessments are web-based, and Coverage Analysis training exercises and practicums are excel-based. Given the interest in CTMS and Electronic Health Record (EHR) billing interfaces, the training includes interface case studies to familiarize attendees with key functionality, and potential implementation options.
  • How long does it take to complete the practicum & achieve certification?
Past attendees estimate 1-2 hours to complete the assigned practicum. Training attendees are provided five (5) business days to submit completed practicums after their respective training session. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, attendees may request a one-time extension, typically an additional five (5) business days. In general, proctors will review each practicum and respond with detailed feedback, customized to each attendee’s submission, within approximately ten (10) business days of receipt. At times, attendees may be required to update and re-submit their practicums in order to demonstrate sufficient subject matter understanding before certification can be issued.
  • Any tips for achieving certification from past high performing attendees?
"Mitigate distractions. Set an away or busy message for your email and business messenger (e.g. Teams, Slack, etc.)." "Consider leaving your video on during the zoom training to help ensure you're present and attentive." "Take notes and ask questions throughout the training." "Complete and submit your practicum right after the training, while the material is fresh, and before other competing priorities may delay (or even prevent) practicum completion."
  • I initially registered for training-only, can I add the option to pursue Certification?
Yes – training-only registrants can elect to add the option to pursue certification within five (5) business days of their training session. Please contact Admin@Research-Matrix.com to request access to the certification assessment and practicum for your assigned training session.
  • How long is my Coverage Analysis Certification good for?
